One Touch Law Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes the policies and procedures of One Touch Law, LLC (“we”, “our” or “us”) on the collection, use and disclosure of your information on or through www.onetouchlaw.com (the “Site” and/or “Mobile Application”) and the services, features, content or applications we offer (collectively the “Services”). All capitalized terms used but not defined herein shall have the respective meanings ascribed to them in the accompanying One Touch Law Terms and Conditions.

One Touch Law takes your privacy seriously and has implemented internal policies with that in mind. We receive information about you from various sources, including: (i) if you register to access the Site and/or the Mobile Application and use the Services, through your user account (your “Account”); (ii) if you use some of the Services generally without registering; (iii) if you access the Mobile Application and/or Site from third party websites and services; and (iv) if you visit the Site. When you access the Site and/or Mobile Application or use the Services, you are consenting to the collection, transfer, manipulation, storage, disclosure and other uses of your information as described in this Privacy Policy.

What Is Covered In Our Privacy Policy?
This Privacy Policy covers the treatment of personally identifiable information (“Personal Information”) gathered when you are accessing the Site and/or Mobile Application or using the Services. This Privacy Policy also covers our treatment of any Personal Information that our business partners share with us or that we share with our business partners.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that we do not own or control, including but not limited to any third party websites, services and applications, including those of credit card payment processors (“Third Party Services”) that you elect to access through the Site and/or Mobile Application or in connection with the use of the Services [or to individuals that we do not manage or employ]. While we attempt to facilitate access only to those Third Party Services that share our respect for your privacy, we cannot take responsibility for the content or privacy policies of those Third Party Services. We encourage you to carefully review the privacy policies of any Third Party Services you access.

What Information is collected?
The information we gather enables us to personalize or tailor the experience for our Users, Lawyers and other Consumers. In connection with certain aspects of the Services, we may request, collect and/or display some of your Personal Information. We collect the following types of information from our Users and Lawyers.

My Account/Personal Information:
When you create an Account, you will provide information that could be Personal Information, such as contact data: name, address, city, state, zip code, phone number, email address and other information that account Users’ and/or Lawyers’ provide. You acknowledge that this information may be personal to you, and by creating an Account on the Site and/or Mobile Application and/or using the Services, you are providing Personal Information to us, which allow others, including us, to identify you and therefore you may not be anonymous.

User Content:
Some features of the Services allow you to provide information so that we can better provide the Services, such as description of legal needs to be sent by Users to Lawyers registered with One Touch Law. This information will be sent to a Lawyer or Lawyers as requested by you before your Consultation with a Lawyer. We may retain all information submitted by you to access the Site and/or Mobile Application and the Services indefinitely, even after you terminate your Account. We may continue to disclose such information to third parties in a manner that does not reveal Personal Information, as described in this Privacy Policy.

Financial Information:
For Users, we do not collect any financial information, as the Services are free. For our registered Lawyers, we do collection financial information. The information is collected and stored by our third party payment processing company (the “Payment Processor”), and use and storage of that information is governed by the Payment Processor’s applicable terms of service and privacy policy.

Traffic Data:
We automatically receive and record information from Users, Lawyers, and other Consumers who visit our Site and/or Mobile Application, such as your IP address, browser settings, mobile device type, Internet service provider (ISP), operating system and date/time stamps. This information is used for fighting spam/malware and also to facilitate collection of data and to compile traffic data and referring sources.

We use this information to analyze site data/traffic but the information is not examined from a personal identification source or information. It’s also used to diagnose problems with operating systems and servers.

Email Communications:
You may receive a new user email from us, password reset email and/or related marketing emails no more than two per month.

Cookies:
Cookies are pieces of text that may be provided to your computer through your web browser when you access a website. Your browser stores cookies in a manner associated with each website you visit. We use standard cookie features with major browser applications, mobile devices and third parties such as Google Analytics and Flurry.
Our cookies do not, by themselves, contain Personal Information, and we do not combine the general information collected through cookies with other Personal Information to tell us who you are. As noted, however, we do use cookies to identify that your web browser or mobile browser has accessed aspects of the Services and may associate that information with your Account if you have one.
You can remove cookies by provided by your Internet browser’s “help” or “support” directory. If you reject cookies or have them turned off you can still use our web site and mobile application.

Web Beacons:
We may use from time to time web beacons to help us track referrals from our business partners and affiliates. This function is very similar to a cookie and used to track movements of the web user. We do not tie information gathered to our Users and Lawyers with Personal Information.

How Is Your Information Shared and/or Used?
One Touch Law does not disclose any nonpublic Personal Information about our visitors, Users or Lawyers to anyone, except as otherwise stated in this Privacy Policy.
We use information you provide, and we collect, to process and/or collect transactions on your behalf. We periodically send service-related push notifications and/or emails of new service features and/or service interruptions.

Email Communications:
As part of our Services, you may occasionally receive email and other communications from us such as push notifications and/or text messages if you have signed up for them, related to your Account. In addition, we might send “how to use” or “training” information, related to how to use our mobile application or new features that relate to your Account. If you do not wish to receive these types of notifications you can opt out through the mobile application under “My Account” or email us at support@onetouchlaw.com. All promotional and/or training emails will have “unsubscribe” instructions at the bottom of each email for additional opt out capabilities.

Information Shared with Lawyers:
You may choose to authorize us to share your Personal Information with selected Lawyers. When you elect to speak to a Lawyer via video or telephone Consultation, you will be asked to provide a brief description of your legal needs, The information you provide is passed to the selected Lawyer you have chosen to connect with and not shared with anyone else. We may share information that you provide to us with Lawyers you choose to work with through the Services. Such information may include Personal Information such as your phone number and email address.

Social Media:
Our mobile application allows users to sign in through Facebook. In order to create your user id and password, we will obtain your email address, name, and city, state from Facebook’s integration to allow you to create an easy sign-on. You can change your login information at anytime. Our mobile application and website include social media sharing capabilities such as “like” or “share” that have mini-programs that run on our Platform. These features may collect your IP address, which page you would like to share, and may enable a cookie to properly present this feature for you. Social media features and widgets are hosted by a third party and not directly hosted by our Platform. Your interactions with these features are covered by the privacy policy of the company providing it.

Account Information:
User profile information including the User’s name and other information you enter may be displayed to facilitate User interaction within the Services. Lawyer profile information, in turn, that you enter may be displayed to Users to facilitate User interaction with Lawyers as part of the Services. We will not otherwise directly reveal User or Lawyer email addresses to other persons. Your information (name and/or username) will not be publically displayed by the Site and/or Mobile Application but will be sent to the persons to whom you want to connect. Lawyer profile information that the lawyer has written and deemed appropriate to describe their legal services and/or legal practice will be displayed when a User searches for the particular service and/or location.

We employ persons who are under our control (“Employees”) and contract with persons and entities that perform certain tasks on our behalf (”Business Partners”). We may need to share Personal Information with our Employees and Business Partners in order to provide Services to you. Unless we tell you differently, our Employees and Business Partners do not have any right to use Personal Information or other information we share with them beyond what is necessary to assist us. You hereby consent to our sharing of Personal Information with our Employees and Business Partners.

Business Transfers:
In some cases, we may choose to buy or sell assets of our business. In these types of transactions, user information is typically one of the transferred business assets. Moreover, if we, or substantially all of our assets, were acquired, or if we go out of business or enter bankruptcy, user information would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge if such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer of our assets or us may continue to use your Personal Information as set forth in this policy.

Information in Communications is Not Subject to Attorney-Client Privilege:
Your communications with One Touch Law do not establish an attorney-client relationship and are not protected under the attorney-client privilege, as any “hiring and/or retaining” of a Lawyer by a User is done outside of the One Touch Law Platform. Nor are your communications protected as attorney work product.

Securing Personal Information:
Your Account information will be protected by a password for your privacy and security. You need to prevent unauthorized access to your Account and Personal Information by selecting and protecting your password appropriately and limiting access to your computer and/or mobile phone.
We seek to protect Account information to ensure that it is kept private; however, we cannot guarantee the security of any Account information. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors, may compromise the security of user information, including nonpublic Personal Information at any time.
We store all of our information, including your IP address information, using industry-standard techniques and practices. We do not guarantee or warrant that such techniques and practices will prevent unauthorized access to information about you, including nonpublic Personal Information, which we store.

Privacy Policy Changes
We may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make any material changes a notice will be posted to this page accompanied by the revisions. You should check this page periodically for the latest updates on our Privacy Policy.
